Sunday School

Sunday School meets every Sunday during the 10:30 am worship service (except on the first Sunday of each month) and is open to kids ages 2 to 6th grade. Good Shepherd offers five classes.

  • The 2 years and 3 years old class explore with curriculum by Gwen Ellis titled, The Read and Share Bible.
  • The 4 years old to Kindergarten class learn with Group Publishing “Hand’s On” curriculum.
  • First and Second graders use Group Publishing’s “Hand’s On” curriculum, plus special lessons about Holy Communion and The Lord’s Prayer.
  • Third and Fourth graders study the Bible with Great Commission’s “Show Me Jesus” curriculum.
  • Fifth and Sixth graders use “Grapple” a special curriculum by Group Publishing written for tweens.

 

Good Shepherd encourages kids to bring an offering to Sunday School. Monies given have been donated to:

Heifer International, Feeding Northwest DuPage, Humanitarian Service Project, World Vision and other highly rated charities.
